WQED in Pittsburgh added a studio guest and a bonus feature to its pledge broadcast on March 3rd too late to make last week's column. Martin Jarvis was the guest. Martin played the Govenor in Vengeance on Varos, and also guest-starred in Invasion of the Dinosaurs and The Web Planet. The Web Planet was the bonus story that aired on WQED, beginning at 1AM late March 3rd.

While it's a bit late to see that special, WQED has John Levene as the scheduled guest for this weekend (Saturday, March 10). John Levene, of course, played Benton in the 70s U*N*I*T stories, and a couple of monsters in 60s stories. One or more stories with Mr. Levene in them (presumably as Sgt. Benton) will air that night.

Several developments at WYBE in Philadelphia, PA. They aired The King's Demons last Friday Night at 11PM to kick off their celebration of having a 24 hour schedule. On Saturday night, they aired Terminus episodes 1+2 for the second week in a row (the first week it was supposed to be Mawdryn Undead episodes 3+4). They will announce a date for the Mawdryn episodes in a while. Finally, because of the 24 hour lineup, they have added a repeat time for Doctor Who. If you miss the Saturday 11PM airings, you can now tune in Monday morning at 4AM and see the episodes.

IPTV in Iowa and KERA in Denver are airing the National Doctor Who Night this weekend for the first time. Hopefully the special will do well in those areas like it has in other areas. KERA will presumably announce the date that regular episodes will begin on their station during their Who Night broadcast.
